YukonGold – Responsible Gambling

Responsible Gambling Policy

Gambling should remain a recreational activity and a source of entertainment. Before you start playing, decide how much time and money you can reasonably afford to spend. Pay attention to your habits and make sure gambling does not negatively affect your daily life or become difficult to control.

The following recommendations can help you maintain a responsible approach:

  • Set a spending limit before beginning a gaming session.
  • Never attempt to recover previous losses, as this may lead to even greater losses.
  • Monitor how frequently you gamble and how long each session lasts.
  • Take regular breaks, even when you are winning, and recognise when it is appropriate to stop.
  • Treat gambling as entertainment rather than a method of earning money or repaying debts.
  • Remember that casino games are based on chance. No strategy, system, or formula can guarantee a successful outcome.
  • Avoid gambling when you feel depressed, anxious, angry, or emotionally distressed.
  • Maintain a healthy balance between gambling and other activities.
  • Do not consume alcohol or use drugs while gambling.

If you are concerned about your gambling habits or simply want to evaluate your behaviour, complete the quick self-assessment test.

Additional information and assistance are available from the National Council on Problem Gambling and Gamblers Anonymous.

Deposit Limits

Daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits can be applied to a Player’s account.

If setting a personal deposit limit would help you control your spending, contact the casino support team to discuss the available options.

A request to reduce a limit may be applied without delay. If you later request an increase or complete removal of the limit, the change will not take effect immediately. A waiting period of 24 hours must pass before the higher or removed limit becomes available.

Self-Exclusion

Players who believe their gambling is becoming problematic may request a temporary or longer-term restriction.

Available options include:

  • Cooling-off periods ranging from 24 hours to six weeks.
  • A six-month self-exclusion period.*

Once self-exclusion has been activated, it cannot be cancelled before the selected period ends. Players should carefully consider the consequences before making a request. If you are uncertain, consider discussing your situation with an organisation specialising in gambling-related support.

To begin self-exclusion because of a gambling problem, contact the [casino support team](/en/contact-us/) and discuss the responsible-gambling options available to you. This will help determine which restriction is most appropriate for your circumstances.

After the initial consultation, you must submit the request by email from the address registered to your Casino account. Self-exclusion should not be regarded as active until the Casino sends a confirmation message to that registered email address.**

Players who choose self-exclusion should also close or restrict any accounts they hold with other gambling operators. A Comprehensive Self-Exclusion request can be submitted to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. Taking this additional step can make the exclusion more effective.

* Yukon Gold Casino may permanently close an account if reopening it is considered harmful or inappropriate. The Casino may also initiate exclusion when there are reasonable grounds to believe that the account holder has a gambling problem or that continued gambling would not be in the best interests of the Player or the Casino.

** Although reasonable efforts are made to identify new accounts opened by self-excluded Players, account holders must not attempt to register additional accounts or bypass the Casino’s restrictions. The Casino cannot be held responsible for gambling activity conducted through accounts created to circumvent its self-exclusion systems.

Casino Limitations and Minor Policy

Yukon Gold Casino permits real-money play only by individuals who are at least 19 years old or have reached the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever requirement is higher.

Minors are not permitted to gamble through the Casino under any circumstances. All gameplay involving an ineligible person will be void, including any winnings obtained through that activity.

Yukon Gold Casino may request proof of age at any stage to confirm eligibility and prevent minors from accessing gambling services.
